If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

SCAM South East Asian accented gent opened with "Hello Mister (first name) how are you today?" - I knew immediately it was a bogus call so I told him to go and kill himself and then I hung up before he could reply.

Some bollocks about arresting me for tax fraud. I tried to play with them but they hung up on me.

Didn’t leave message, I don’t know number. Called back to check. Male answered, asked for their identity. No info given. Class as suspicious, could be scam.

SCAM claimed to be Tony from Carphone Warehouse but my andriod identified the caller as Al Kareem, a legitimate company, so they are using their number to think they are legit. Unless you use Al Kareem block this number

Called by this no it was someone called Marcus Taylor he said he was from fraud squad in London I called them and they said he did not work there and had serval calls about him and a John Edwards they advised to block the number

I rejected first time round but they called again and I accepted a call just for fun. As expected, they're calling about their "promotion". I said "no thanks" and hanged up. Flagged number as spam on my phone.

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

A guy called "Henry", thick Indian accent phoning from "Microsoft". I asked him real name and he just swore and hung up. Fake Microsoft scam caller.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like
