Yorkshire accent, Exeter number. Claimed they were calling on behalf of the Association of British Insurers. When pressed, admitted it was actually the "Motor Advice Bureau". Pressed further, he admitted it was a personal injury (or as he put it, "personal welfare") claims referral. Had a woman saying we had agreed to support thier campaign got to the end of her spiel then she asked where to send the invoice, gave it to her both barrells, she said we had agreed verbaly and would pass onto thier technical support for recording of agreement. Think they are trying to make people believe others in your company have ageed to sponsor.

I received this call yesterday and it appears to originate from Meriden, Conneticut. I automatically ignore these sorts of numbers and block them. However, I'm being inundated with these calls on a daily basis and it's so frustrating as they will keep calling you but from a different number!

Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.
