The person said he was calling from eon energy regarding price rises & new tariffs.

Classic "involved in an accident that wasnt your fault" I get calls from this number and several iterations of it a week. This was from a lady called Rose. They always have information of an accident I never remember having myself!

Told them I was busy, said they would call back, so I blocked the number. They have called every day since using different number. Not genuine as I already donate.

Person on the phone told me they were informed i was in a car accident. PPI perhaps?

Black pearl claims trying to sell PPI refund or accident compensation service.

Picked up the phone and an Asian-sounding gentleman answered. He said he wasn t conducting a survey, but just wanted to ask a few questions. Q1) Who provides your television service? Still sounded like a survey to me, so I politely declined and put the phone down.

Called at 5.45am then hung up when i answered.

I had a missed call on my mobile from this number today at 2.30 pm. Did not try to ring back as I didn't recognise the number.

This is Southern Electric auto dialler. Probably chasing payment

Engage to write off debts (pre recorded message) if over ?10,000 - only pay 10%. Press 5 to contact, and 9 if not interested. No further calls, so far. Definitely not interested.

Had several calls over the past couple of weeks. Latest was today with the correct name, but then said "oh, wrong number" - very suspicious.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Attempted scam. Fake number, been called several times. "I am calling from BT, there is a problem with your Broadband Line". Do not talk to them, do not let them access your PCs.

Calls twice a day - nobody there when I answer

I stayed over 8 times that I was uninterested and please take my number of the system. The woman said that she would put my number back in the dialler and get someone else to call me

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
