Was an answerphone recording telling me I owed money to the Tax office. I blocked the number as I'm sure HMRC don't use mobile phones to make calls, and will find a conventional method of contacting me rather than a dodgy auto service.

SCAM Call blocker service is expiring. No it isn't as I have never signed up in the first place.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. I am going to contact ofcom and ofgem to see if they can do anything regarding this business as the manager I spoke to called me an idiot as well as F****ng hitler. SCAM: pretended to be from Virgin Media, seemed affronted I asked for the name attached to the account, then hung up.

Recorded voice telling of £300 and £1000 having been taken from our bank account, one relating to Amazon. They asked for button pressing, which led to us hanging up.

SCAM Automated message allegedly from "Bank Authorisation Department" re two claimed charges on my Mastercard account of £300 via Amazon AND £1100 from a "gambling site in California", invitation to press 1 to take some action over the charge and press 2 to speak to someone. Too stupid to expect me to deal with two separate transactions in one button press, ALSO I had had another automated call, not sure who they said was calling, but it was from a Dutch number 0031203692139 five minutes
