Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!
This is a multiple spam/nuisance callers number who constantly call me up to 5 times a day and every time i block a number they phone back on a different number

Irish traveller scammers, they arrived in a pair to purchase goods with a fake banking app. Used every excuse possible. Probably a burner number but blocked. Sent them away without the goods and they called back trying to “show me the reference number” and arrange a call with bank of Ireland.
Had a call which I answered but no-one was there. Rang back and got recorded message stating that number was invalid. Almost certainly dodgy.

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

I was asked to call this number. A man called me on my landline about potential fraud in my bank account and claimed this number was for the Halifax fraud prevention team. The caller asked me to give them my mobile so they could send me a text. When I said no they asked me to ring this number instead.

Called me twice this morning on my mobile. No message left. If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.

SCAM Another happy go lucky "Fraud Office" call, about "Unusual Activity on you account", who get potty mouthed when you inform them no transaction has occurred or is pending according to your banking app. Same thing everyday, so used to it I can quote the entire automated call back to them.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. SCAM Contacted me about a car accident i had a few weeks ago. knew i was in an accident, knew my name but didn't know anything else. was pushing for information from me about the accident, whether there was another party, any witnesses, what damage there was, what the outcome was. was on phone for roughly 5 minutes. when they tried to take the number of the person i collided with, i said no and she hung up on me. clear scammer.

Called just after midnight - annoying but fortunately do not disturb was on. spam as no one calls at that time of night unless i know them!
This number called my mobile, said nothing for about 10 seconds, then hung up. I left it 10 minutes before calling the number back from my mobile, withholding my number. It's comes up invalid number. So whoever is calling from this number is upto no good!!
