I was called saying my wifi was going to go go off and i was going to be given a new router. I was asked to use my mobille phone and enter a code which he gave me. He was using phonetics which didnt seem normal eg o was onion. Naturally I did'nt carry on and rang off.
Pretending to be about national insurance fraud and that you are about to be arrested.

A man (in a noisy office) wantimg me to get free cavity wall & loft insulation through the goverment scheme. When i told them i had my loft done in 2007 they said id need it doing again. This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

Caller rang, but hung up after a brief ring. I am presuming it s a scammer hoping I will call back.
Just had a phone call from this number, twice on my mobile and at home saying that the banks lied and I can get money on ppi. But dont know anything about them.
SCAM Second call in as many minutes all from Blackburn area telephone numbers.
