Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". SCAM Recorded message stated it was from WelshWater and that there was a problem with the supply and to press key 1 at end of message to confirm message received. I did not of course press 1 and ended call immediately.
Automated message purporting to be from Amazon Prime stating that £39.99 was about to be taken out of my account. Instructed to press 1 to speak to a representative.
