I spoke to someone at Homebase yesterday and they said that I would be asked to take part in a customer service survey, so I assume this is what this call was about. You can opt out by pressing 9, or just ignore the call and block the number as I did.

Says theres fraud registered under my name. If I don't press 1to speak to someone then I will be arrested shortly! I have not committed any crime nor have a criminal record. Blocking this number!
Picked up incoming call and voice message said it was from my bank and press 1 to stop payment of £600 being issued to foreign account. I didn't select 1 and the call just ended. It was not my bank and no money had been sent. Clear scam!

It's hard to believe that is still happening, and it's even harder to believe that nothing has been done to stop these types of calls in today's wealth of technology, these people should think about the harm and misery they cause but of course when you are a scammer it's the last thing you think of isn't it.
Usual Indian accented person calling me from Talktalk to save my computer from a major disaster. Phone rings, 2 seconds of sounds of a busy call centre, then a rather posh Indian says "Mr.M#####k?" I say "Yes" He continues, "My name is (bogus Indian name) this is the call blocking service..." and I hung up. I don't know why I bother answering the phone nowadays, 99% of the time it is a scam. The only reason I answered this time, is that I am expecting my second Covid-19 jab invite, and another important call. How long is this farce going to continue

01367156170 rang at 9:39 automated Amazon Prime stating my account was due for renewal and that a sum of £39.99 would be deducted from my account. This is a spam call as I do not have an Amazon Prime account. They previously telephoned me this morning on 07322440871 at 8:32am so they are persistent, I have blocked the number now.

I typed the web address into my browser from another device and got the message “Error 600” I’ve now blocked the number.

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.
