Your internet supply will be disconnected in 24 hours due to inactivity, to speak to ‘someone’ press 1, to speak to the technical team please hold. “I end the call, I will not press 1 or hold any longer, my internet provider has not tried to make contact with me, There are No problems re: my internet so IT’S OBVIOUS SCAM ATTEMPTS!”

Phone rings, 2 seconds of sounds of a busy call centre, then a rather posh Indian says "Mr.M#####k?" I say "Yes" He continues, "My name is (bogus Indian name) this is the call blocking service..." and I hung up. I don't know why I bother answering the phone nowadays, 99% of the time it is a scam. The only reason I answered this time, is that I am expecting my second Covid-19 jab invite, and another important call. How long is this farce going to continue

Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes
appreciate the guy is doing what he has been told to do suspect these calls creep up due to holidays and students taking this type of call work

I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Received a text on my mobile saying that my Paypal account has been blocked. There was a link to follow to unblock it. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK. Check up with Paypal on another device, through normal channels. I did this on my laptop and it was not sent by them. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT RESPOND.
