Automated call Recorded voice telling me I had made an international money transfer from one of my bank cards. This is the second call telling me this today, the first was from 01482354676. Exactly the same message and voice. Usual instructions to press phone buttons to approve or cancel payment etc. Number added to blocked calls list and to BT black list. These calls are dangerous.

Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. The caller introduced as from Revenue and Customs and says there is a tax fraud case registered under my name. The message seemed to be a pre-recorded one. They wanted me to press option numbers but i hung up.
Was calling, had all the wrong details about me, was after another name, but then decided they d try with their spiel anyway. Not sure if it s genuine or not, but was trying to get me interested in smart meters for my gas/electric. I told them I was on direct debit and that swiftly ended the call.
