Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.
Another scammer, they you call then hangs up obviously to get you to call back, leave us alone it's so annoying, get a job for Christ sake instead of wasting my time you buffoon ???? you make me sick ????????

They said a large transaction was being approved, if this isn’t you, call the number After calling, the same electronic voice is used as Santander’s official line, they said “press 1 to speak with an agent” If you press 1, the line hangs up. This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. Southend-on-Sea! I've no connections to there any more, none that would have my telephone number. No purchases made from over there. And there are no company names attached to this number. I can only assume phishing or scamming of its not a misdialled number.
Caller said she is calling about repairs that had just been done at my property,I asked what property I have several she then ended call, they have called several times.

Several telephone calls from them. They call about my domestic appliance renewal and they use a very similar name to my actual insurance provider. They then lie and claim that the policy is with them and they just want to do a good deal for renewals. I was suspicious so telephoned my actual provider and they confirmed the call was not from them. This is a scam. The callers are dishonest and will call repeatedly. I recommend you block this number immediately.
I think this was a scam call saying he ("Charle" sic) was from Virgin Media and that he was going to cut off my internet for 30 days
