Numerour numbers beginning with 07488. They are trying to get you to invest in stocks & shares. Annoying as the number changes each time you block them.

Called twice in the space of 5 minutes, first time I answered they hung up after I said hello. Second time they asked for me by name, I asked who they were calling on behalf of and they hung up again.

A woman with a very foreign accent that I could barely understand, it sounded like she said she was calling from o2 but like I say could hardly understand her. I said I am not with o2 and will be reporting this call to the relevant authorities as it is an unsolicited call, she just said ok and bye.

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. This us a scammer. Wife just had this message. Our daughter is with her and our son is with me. The message is “Hey Mum, I broke my phone today, please message me on this number 447706598749 urgently x im texting of a friends phone.” Scam!!!

07363953461 is a FAKE scam CLI being used by an offshore call centre. They call folks and pretend to be calling from BT, regarding error logs received from your internet connection. The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.
