It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.

SCAM. I get two phone calls every day, and have done for a year. The number is different every time, but the organisation is the same. They appear to have a spoof number system that hides the actual number they call from.
UK female automated voice claiming to be bank security. At which point I hung up.
Suspected automated scam phone call. Claiming to be Amazon confirming purchase of Iphone 13 on my account. Says if you didn't order stay on the line no doubt you get though to someone asking for account/bank details. I just ended call and blocked. My Amazon account does not have this order on it so all okay.
There was nobody on he phone when I answered it.

This number called approx. 2.30pm stating in a recorded message that our credit card had been used fraudulently. £300 odd paid to Amazon. A £1000 odd paid out as well, from Scotland. Phones my number regularly, I finally answered and a lady with an Indian sounding accent said Hello, I said Hello back and waited and she hung up.
