Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. These days it is well worth having caller display on a land line - mobiles have it anyway. So for all these callers, 0845-, unavailable, withheld, etc., just lift the receiver and drop it back immediately, or, on a mobile, answer the call and immediately shut it down. This stops answerphone message.

They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

Repeated calls that disconnect

rec'd call 01/12/15 the line was silent for about 10 secs, then I disconnected.

Getting called repeatedly by this number, as soon as my answer machine cuts in they clear (i m in the TPO but as usual that makes no difference to these scammers/spammers) Why is the ICO so useless with these people)
