Yorkshire accent, Exeter number. Claimed they were calling on behalf of the Association of British Insurers. When pressed, admitted it was actually the "Motor Advice Bureau". Pressed further, he admitted it was a personal injury (or as he put it, "personal welfare") claims referral. Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!

Started getting calls beginning this week, 3 or 4 times a day. I don t answer as don t recognise the number.
Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.
