This number called automated message stating customs and revenue. American accent stated that I would be arrested if I did not pay a fine. Said o press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone. I hung up immediately. I know that HM Customs and Revenue do not telephone anyone. Obviously a scam

Have done my research and investigated and found out it's something to do with a Crypto currency scam!!! I have never got involved in crypto currency and unsure how they had access to my number. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964
Part of a block-dialing network usually starting with 020 8058 xxxx, phone rings, if you answer call is hung up. No doubt part of a vile scammer outfit using auto-dialers - I get 020 8058 calls a couple of times a month.
