Got a phonecall saying that it was eon to arrange an appointment to fit a smart meter he asked if I would pay by direct debit or smart pay as you go when I said pay as you go je said there was a problem with the system and he would call back I contacted eon and they assured me that this is a scam and not one of their numbers

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Claimed to be from "3". I said he wasn't, he said he was and offered a great deal on phones. Asian accented male. Telephone Preference Service request not complied with. Undoubtedly a scam

Scam call claiming to be from Sky. Clearly with no understanding of broadband, and how Sky works. They try to get you to download software, it is criminal.

Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.
