Recorded message call this morning saying that payments had been made from my account one money transfer (£1300) and one to Amazon (£200), press button options at which point I hung up and checked the number on this site.

SCAM Automated call on 10/7/23 at about 10am. Message said from Barclays fraud dept, payment of £800 pound to American on-line gambling noticed on visa account, press button 1 if not me. Thought it was a scam as bank wouldn't send automated call, phoned bank on their known number, bank said not on my visa account scam.

Interesting many mention Curry’s-Inundated for YEARS with fake curry’s and other services e mails.Plus piggy backing my e mail contacts falsely to try and get me to click on links. I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

An Indian sounding male said he was calling from a solicitors office. Very difficult to understand and a lot of chatting inn the background. Suggests this is a call centre and probably some kind of scam.SCAM

3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.

I don't know anyone in that area. It was a random call which I didn't answer. It can only be an attempted scam.

SCAM. Supposedly from "Carnmoney warehouse" phonet barely can speak English, and when I asked a question he didn't even understand. When googled number, it appeared as "Radisons Dry Cleaning" , so clearly a scam, using fake phone numbers.

Calling regards to tax refund from HMRC also asking about claiming tax back from PIP benefit. Didnt answer, i called back, they already knew my name. Dodgy people.

Claim to be from o2 call centre then they initiate a password reset on your account without you knowing They then try and get you to read out the one time security code

Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.
