had a very nice call fron a man with a very thick indian accent called Mike Robertson who refused to give me any details about the company he works for so just wasted 30 mins of his day refusing to give him any of my details finally got the company name out of him called choose lifestyle in the end he gave up looking forward to the next call to waste more of their time

Steve is correct, it is Bauer Media. If you ve entered your number online somewhere for a free magazine (I d asked for Marie Claire / Instyle) then they re calling for your address. Theyll also offer you 3 issues for £1.00. Spoke to a lovely lady and she asked if I wanted future calls for offers and so I said no. It s all legit. However, they need to work on their employees... I had another call minutes later from a guy there who was on the phone to someone else!!

Claimed he was calling from Microsoft. When I said to him that he was making it all up, he told me "If I didn t like it I could shove it up my ass and go F**k myself". Charming. I know my father has picked up the phone before and had the same issues with him. Sounds like the same Asian man.

Internet scam call seems come from India via UK number
Believe this number to be a scam. They called me with an automated message claiming to be amazon. It said that i was about to be charged for amazon prime (which i dont have), and if i dont want that to happen press 1. Obviously i didnt press 1 as that probably goes through to scammers.
Wanting me to take out discounted newspaper subscription.
A female voice asking me whether I have been involved in a car accident. It was obviously a scam. I asked her to get lost, and then blocked the number.

He was not from a telephone company - he should be ashamed of himself how does he (and the rest of the Indian callers) sleep at night. Guy with an Indian accent who spoke very fast when he left me a voice mail. I couldn t understand him so thought I would look up his number first, and this is what I found.
they asked for me by previous name a bit worrying then asked if I d claimed all my PPI back. When I said I d never had any he insisted I had so I terminated the call. I only answered the call as I have relatives in Macclesfield and thought it may be one of them ringing from another landline

Call center very unpleasant man asking about replacing windows, I told him it was none of his business & was about to say if I need new windows I’ll contact companies myself but a red mist came over him & in a angry tone he talked over me lecturing me about manners, of which he had none & then he put the phone down. Been getting a few calls from this number over the last month, got fed up and answered, all I got was a robot voice saying goodbye before the call disconnected. Was pretty creepy and in general didn t appreciate all the attempts. From what I ve heard these guys are scam artists who atleast have access to vodaphone customer s information, though I m on orange, not the only one on this network to recieve a call from this number, so they most likely have access to their customer database aswell.
