Could not understand, the person calling me. I am with BT so don't know why EE would call me.
Claims to be BT technical suggesting they are cutting broadband services off for illegal activities, they can’t give the account name or number. Multiple calls this morning regarding this from other numbers too.

They will steal your money in order to feed their lives, you will not receive any returns only complete lies. If you have invested and paid into any of their accounts please contact your local police asap. These fraudsters are also using various fake addresses across Essex UK.

SCAM claiming to be giving £40 rebate due to energy price increase on behalf of my energy company. I contacted my supplier & they confirmed it was a scam call & they would not ask another company to give any rebates they would do that themselves.

This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.
Three times in last 24 hrs just annoying scam saying calling from BT internet a load of rubbish just put the phone down.
Said he was Chris my local energy adviser. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should remove my number. He hung up.

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(

SCAM: automated female voice, claiming to be 'Bank Security' (but Not which bank) The grammar was a bit off. Message said two payments had been taken from 'your card this morning' - one to Amazon for £200 I think, the other was £700 cash drawn from my card but didn't actually specify WHICH card it was.- Press 1 to authorise payments, or 2 to speak to someone. Complete bunkum. Call supposedly from Liverpool. Probably a spoofed number.
