Called my mobile at 18.01 on a bank holiday. Rejected call. Muffled and unclear voicemail left sounding like they were saying maybe the name of who was calling me. They obviously don’t listen properly to realise it’s the voicemail recording talking not an actual person!SCAM

SPAM recorded call today saying they were from the bank and a payment for £700 had been made to Amazon and £2000 had been transferred elsewhere. The usual press 1 to transfer or press 2 to speak to someone. I hung up.
This number is for: The Landmark Trust | Holidays in Historic Buildings https://www.landmarktrust.org.uk A genuine holiday provider that I have used a number or times.
I don’t think this is a secure number. I had 2 messages within half hour with two different amounts and services!

Claims to be from Google adwords but gets really sketchy when you push to verify this. Never been rang from Google on anything ither than an 0845 number. Very suspect.
Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.
Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

There was automated call advising me there was a criminal case being raised for tax evasion
