The callers from this number are scammers. They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

SCAM, he pretends to have a contract that is based in Turkey and then needs money for transporting of goods as clearance cost more than he thought. He pretends to want to come visit you in your country but never arrives

SCAM. Legit No. Obviously spoofed and being used by a bank scammer. Call opens with the 'Your account has been debited £X thousand' gambit. THE LEGITIMATE OWNER OF THE PHONE NUMBER IS NOT INVOLVED IN SCAMMING.

He said there seems to be some fraudulant activity on my account and I should move all my money into the main account and then he would change all my account numbers and sort codes He sent messages from 08000 123 123 and he confirmed Santander will always use this number as it uses the 123 from their 123 account. Remember: Your bank will never ask you to move money!

FrI was caught out by this today. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call and got straight on to O2 to change

SCAM An incomprehensible squeaky voice on the usual bad callcenter line and given an O2 security code turned up a few seconds later that's presumably what they were asking for to scam my account. Nothing good to be found here.
