They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account. BEfore he had chance to put the phone down on me i asked him to confirm the number and address and name of who he had listed, and he came up with a name, address and postcode which are definitely not me. Had my 8th call from these people today. am on TPS. I pointed out that I had asked for my number to be removed from their list on the first call. Asked for details so that I could take action against them. The caller Katherine said she didn t like being shouted at and hung up. Have made a complaint to the TPS

they keep ringing me and dont tell me who they are and when i try and ring them back theres just a jingley belly sort of sound.

No Huntly number starts with 400, so must assume a bogus caller. 3rd such call in last 72 hrs and not answered. Suggest others nit to accept.

Tried ringing me on 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st (x2) and 25th August. Number is recognised by app on my phone as a telemarketer & nuisance caller so blocks it straight away as I have a box to tick if I want to block calls from this number

Someone from this number got through to my answering machine but didn t speak. Call centre noises in the background though.

I've had two calls from Burnside Plant which I didn't answer, using this number and a different number and hour later. No idea who they are or what they could possibly want. Sounds dodgy. I'm in Scotland.

Called and asked for someone by surname. I said no sorry I'm Mr ...... And they just hung up! Very professional.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy people ar
