The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.

But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.

Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.

this number is for a ulez payment but is a con i paid a charge of £17.50 and is on my bank statement as ULEZSERVICE but my ulez charge has not been paid on the receipt is this number every time i call picked up and cut of never have i spoken to any one i would never have known unless i called tfl and asked why they took £17.50 instead of £12.50 where i now have a £80.00 charge so this scam has cost me almost £100.00

Was an answerphone recording telling me I owed money to the Tax office. I blocked the number as I'm sure HMRC don't use mobile phones to make calls, and will find a conventional method of contacting me rather than a dodgy auto service.

Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth. Then I waited for the message to repeat to hear who it claimed to be and instead it hung up. Clearly a scam.
