My "local" insulation expert decrying present "fluffy" loft insulation. When I asked if he was trying to sell me loft insulation he rang off. Annoying cold caller who thinks that with a Bournemouth number he is local to the North West of Lancashire.

They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as cleared on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It s harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in you ll get yours !!

Automated message apparently from the HMRC saying there was an outstanding claim on my account and that I needed to press 1, if not I would be arrested!
Called as one of those accident claims people. As I m registered with TPS, I asked how they got my number and they hung up.

Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. silent then hung up. Usually what happens is I get some silent calls before the influx of thick Indian accents asking about my phone in the proceeding days. aka fishing for operational phone numbers via an automated dialer.
Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse. Sounded more like an Indian call centre to me.
This is not a complaint. I think this is the library renewals reminder service automated by Westminster City Libraries.
