They have been calling a lot these past few days, but when I answer they always hang up. My guess is that they try to trick you into calling them back, otherwise I can t explain what s the use of harassing people like that?!

Thanks to the comments on this page I have ignored this number.

They ring 2-3 times a day to mobile and landline. Never leave a message, just blank. Disappear when phone is picked up. Very annoying! I take landline off the hook, they ring again as soon as replaced. I don t answer my mobile as number not known.

Yes this number is AO.com and yes they do know what you ordered. However this is the Sales end of their organisation so BEWARE (Its probably even a separate company just trading under the same name) . They are calling on the pre-text of your order with AO.com but are very aggressively trying to sell you appliance breakdown cover! These cowboys claiming to be locksmiths stick these annoying stickers all over peoples property. Every house in my street now has one of these Cricklewood Locksmith stickers on their front doors. I?ve looked at their reviews and can see why they resort to labelling intercome systems and entrance ways: because that?s the only way they can get business! If they were any good, they wouldn?t need to use illegal and aggressive advertising to make money. Avoid like the plague.

Today someone rang from "Department of Claims", about a premium bank account and was asking for personal information that could be used for identity fraud. Avoid!!

Automated message advising BT Internet would be shut down as it has been hacked, contacted BT and they confirmed this is not one of their numbers and no record of it - SCAM !!!!

They asked if I was Mr ..... I asked who was calling and they hung up. Very rude and unprofessional - didnt give me a chance to tell them to go away. ;-(
