This number came up on a pop up box when trying to install a new version of Microsoft Office on a Mac. It said you needed to ring the number for help or you would lose the product. This is not the case and this company has no affiliation with Microsoft. It is a scam to get your credit card info and gain access to your computer. Run a separate Google search and ring Microsoft’s real helpline number if this happens to you. If you’ve already given them access to your computer ring Action Fraud.

SCAM. I received a recorded phone msg from 02089876951 It was a woman who spoke very fast saying my visa card had been used for two large amounts of money this morning. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.

SCAM Contacted me about a car accident i had a few weeks ago. knew i was in an accident, knew my name but didn't know anything else. was pushing for information from me about the accident, whether there was another party, any witnesses, what damage there was, what the outcome was. was on phone for roughly 5 minutes. when they tried to take the number of the person i collided with, i said no and she hung up on me. clear scammer.

Called multiple times and at stupid hours. Midnight I received 3 missed calls and a voicemail which was just music playing, whereas the voicemail left in the day he was a "recruiter". Do not answer.

Another number saying from bank security and 2 transactions taken from account.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. spam call pretenting to be a IT recruiter looking for contracting job. Does not leave you by if you let the person know that you are not interested or you dont know about the information they ask. Too invasive and prying to know more contacts in your firm. Stay away.
