I rejected first time round but they called again and I accepted a call just for fun. As expected, they're calling about their "promotion". I said "no thanks" and hanged up. Flagged number as spam on my phone.

FAKE recorded call, claiming to be Inland Revenue and threatening a fine or jail if IO did not press 1.

SCAM They pretend to rent apartments through booking.com, after you send them prepayement they cancel your booking and erase the posting.

This is an Inland Revenue scam. They sent me a robo-call sying I was going to be prosectuted by the Government under the guise of something I'd done associated with Inland Revenue. I wait for the someone to come on the line who asked 'How can I help you?'. I replied by saying 'You called me'. They dropped off the call.

Rang me and checked my name and the proceeded to tell me he wanted to talk to me about my computer I told him I suspected he was trying to defraud me and put the phone down.

Phone number - UK landline - 01174526780 called my unregistered landline. On picking up the call, there was NO RESPONSE from the caller - be it from a BOT or Person who initiated the call. - I then returned the call with my number with-held and a BOT replied "This number is not in service" !! . This 'who called me service' identified the number above as UK - Bristol. SCAM Call received on 27 October 2022,strong African accent trying to get me to reclaim money I paid (allegedly) on an investment, obviously a scam call now blocked.

SCAM This person rang me 3 times one after the other. He said he was from an investment firm and I stopped his spiel as soon as I heard that. He became extreme belligerent when I told him I wasn't interested and to remove my details from his list. I ended the call and he had the audacity to keep ringing me even though I kept rejecting his call!

Indian based scam callers who pretend to be from one of the phone companies and now have offers for you. I am completely covered in scam calls from India where the fact that my number is on a government do-not-call list is completely ignored. A valid phone company would not ignore the fact that my number is listed.

Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.
