Actually an 0151 number masked as a number with your local area code (01254) in order to try and trick you into answering. Very sneaky. Blocked

Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

This caller purports to represent several companies in the advertizing business. On the face of it they are legit but on police and Solicitor advice steer well clear unless you want to be skinned by their relentless monetary tactics.
