Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Fraud claim to be from bank security about transactions on amazon. Message left at time I was in bank dealing with business number allocated by BT to North Tyneside. Come on BT stoop this misuse of numbers or BBC fraud section will be informed and asked to investigate

Was called by this number which was automated. Informing me that my Amazon Prime was being renewed and that money would be taken from my bank account and to press 1 to speak to the Service Manger. Assess this as a Scam as I do not have Amazon prime.

Fraud - foreign-sounding caller purporting to be from VISA Security. When I asked which VISA account the suspect transaction was on the caller swore and hung up. I don't believe that is VISA policy or that VISA fraud investigation works from a questionable domestic number appearing to be in Stafford.

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Scammers got my name form Mail Order Catalogue sais I was due a 70% discount off restaurant meals. Lots of people heard in background 'call centre' , I put the phone down to the Asian accented lady. WHY does the Government let these people trade? BEWARE. just put the phone down or you WILL LOSE MONEY.

Fraud. Caller called a friend from this number claiming to be a scrap metal merchant. Then rang me a few days later saying they had a delivery for my friend. Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
