Automated call, phone today, Saturday asking for ***** press 1 if this is you, which it wasn t, but still went on with ref number and when to call their office, then gave a totally different number to the one shown on my caller id. Me thinks it is either ppi or debt collector? Looking at the comments, it looks like debt collector. The government should look to ban these scumbuckets! If you owe money then it should be the the people you know that chase you, not these rats!
a cold call from a home improvement company related to Safestyle windows soffits and garage doors and security. These calls usually start again from a new number when they take on new staff and pass them a list of past customers to cold call and try to either upsell or provide further products very annoying calls
This number has now called 5 times since 23 March. I have found the name of the company ringing. All I will say it is an accident claims company.

Insurance scam
Caller had British accent. He said he was not trying to selling anything, and asked something about electricity. However really most of what he said went in one ear and out the other, as I quicky lose interest when getting cold callers! These calls are annoying as I am registered with tpsonline.org.uk so I should not be getting these calls.

Caller said she was from VirginMedia and claimed that someone had hacked my Internet. Wanted to show me on my PC. When I said her story was a scam and rubbish, she said my PC was causing hacking attacks, and my Internet line will be blocked.

I believe this company is Harringtons Advisory ltd. PPI,Pensions,Accidents,Mortgages,debts, and other claims calls. I have found 67 phone numbers for them so far, and 35 of them end in 063. This company is under investigation by the Claims Management Regulator, but thats only for the PPI side of it. I have had nothing but hassle from this company. I answered this call as it appeared to be a mobile number. Suspect it was spoofing it s real number. Caller knew my late father s name, wanted to do a 60 second survey. I kept telling him that father wasn t here any more, and that I was moving shortly, but he kept asking questions about how old my washing machine was. I hung up.
