Once I was off the phone I checked the number on this site andthen phoned my bank to cancel my card they sounded so believable and could kick myself for being so stupid. I managed to stop my card before any money was taken out

What has been the response from police and trading standards for others who have reported them/ him? Are Paul and Nic the same person? Do they have any links to Halifax? Is there an email address associated with them?
I believe this is a scammer call. I received a call from number 087540568 in Slovenia this mourning and it was an Indian scam company. I have no contacts in U.K. and I never before received any scam calls (approx 15 years). This call lasted 10 seconds after I answered it and person on the other side of the line was quiet and would not respond. Number displayed on my phone was +44 7900 862866.
