Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.
