It's just a scam regarding Tax Evasion. They will give an option to settle with the court by paying 500£ first or settle it in court with a lawyer. They will not give you a reference number for your case and they will try threathing you with police officer coming to your door.

I Believe this is a scam call 01985216376 - I had a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent calling himself Barry. He said he was calling from open reach regarding our internet line, in the background it sounded like an office environment. I called the number back and got an English speaking gentleman called Richard and no office sounds in the background and he was not open reach. They may be tapping in to UK numbers to catch people out. My internet is working Fine by the way.

A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. THis is fake. I had a text pretending to be from my bank, about a transaction. My bank says no such transaction, and they did not send this message. Advice: do not call the number on the text, call your bank using the number printed on the back of your bank card.
