Fraud claims to be from National Insurance but it is a mobile number.
Received a text on my mobile saying that my Paypal account has been blocked. There was a link to follow to unblock it. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK. Check up with Paypal on another device, through normal channels. I did this on my laptop and it was not sent by them. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT RESPOND.
I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. I immediately interrupted him to tell him he was wrong, we have modern insulation and that we don't want it up to the rafters as the loft is boarded and used for storage. Had this a few time - thought is was TRJ but must be SRJ asking if I was NAME press 1 if not press 2 then can you bring NAME to phone 1 yes 2 no then please ask NAME to call. When they called next I pressed 1 and got "you will be put through to next available operator - she asked was I NAME and I said "Actually I am not there is nobody of that name at this address" - she said she would take us off their list - whether that happens or not remains to be seen
