I got a call at 0920. A guy with an Indian accent introduced himself as Eric from the technical department of Talk Talk. Kept referring to me as Mr XXXX even though I m clearly female! Said there was a major problem with my router. I told him I don t have an account with Talk Talk and asked where he got my details. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1792917xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims (also reclaim money from holidays) / insurance marketing / energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
