My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. Their response was to advise if I don t want abusive calls don t use answerphone! Not sure who s the bigger waste of space, cretinous telemarketers or the Met.

This no. is very similar to others starting 01772 (which is supposedly Preston, but with spoof phoning this could be from anywhere in the World) then 924, then 3 digits e.g. 045...

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

Pre recorded message purported to be forwarded from BT - saying Landline and Broadband services were due ti be terminated and given 2 options - press 1 to halt the termination process or press 2 to continue with the termination. Did neither and rang off. Then contacted BT who confirmed that this was a SCAM call

It seems these companies are only doing there targets, As the customer says yes (with OVR function) they just deduct the amount from your account Debit/Credit Card. The biggest fool part is that they are not with there words and for this they have to pay now. At this point when you want to talk again to them and call on those numbers it says number u dialed is not valid . It sucks now what to do i am really irritated. Indian guy called up claiming I ve had an accident in the last 3 years, I advised the guy no I haven t had an accident, line went silent for a moment. He then asked if I can do him a favour? Which was to lend him money as he is from Pakistan and has no money, I immediately put the phone down.

SCAM! Calling from a mobile number + automatic bot is set up, not a real person. Pretending to be from National Insurance Security, saying your NIN been compromised and threatening legal action if you don't contact them with your details right away. This is a FRAUD, beware! They called me on a new number that I got a few weeks ago and never shared with anyone, this is obviously a randomly generated call.
