A washing machine warranty call. Caller with a London accent asked for me by name and said the warranty on my washing machine was due to expire and that she just needed to update the paperwork and said it would actually be cheaper, started by asking to confirm my postcode & address. Called my mother claiming she was entitled to a PPI compensation. Mother has never once had a credit card or even a loan!
did not recognise number. I answered but did not speak. there was a lot of background chatter, possibly a crowded office or call centre. caller just repeated "hello" without any introduction. they gave up after a few moments and just said "ok" and hung up.

SPAM 01225 685717 - calls started 16/4 and searched 6 times by 10am, obvious spammer with spoof number. Block. Other sites shows 10+ searches from 16/4 and 5+ negative comments selling insulation etc.
SPAM Recorded message, purported to be from bank fraud department, that someone had sent international transfer of £1100 from my account. Press 1, etc. I hung up. I do not have £1100. I think genuine fraud department would actually talk to you.
Called when I said no thanks kept trying to get me into conversation so put phone down
