SCAM SPAM, sent a text message from a seperate number (+44 7851 800695) asking me to call as its my child and their phone is smashed and their friend gave them a new one and the speaker isnt working on the phone they are texting off? my child is 8. seems suspicious.

On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.
Asian caller claiming to be from the carphone warehouse company (yeah right), about an exciting offer and he could give me the most up-to-date phone. Scam . Got abusive when I refused to give information that they asked for.
Very pushy guy would not listen at all, would not let me speak trying to sell phones and simply, wanted to know what phone I had. Never gave a company name, never gave me a chance to speak so vut him off. No clue if it was spam, scam etc but definitely worth avoiding!
