now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. 01212011739 keeps calling for our MD and stating it is to do with a financial matter and also mentioned HMRC, got shirty when I said this was a scam of some sort and she said she would find another way of contacting him then slammed phone down as I wouldnt put her through

This goes through to fraud dept and they can t help and won t forward call.

Claimed to be working in conjunction with my security company, then it became apparent that they only wanted to sell me their products. How can you trust a security company that tells untruths ?

They are trying to do a job, but I asked the guy to end the call 3 times and take me off the list. After being rung several times.

Keep getting calls from this number and when you answer there is noone on there, we had about 10 in 1 day.

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

I was called to day and the man asked to speak to my husband. I asked him what about and he said that it was about his HSBC holdings which needed assessing. I told him he couldn t be from HSBC as my husband died this year and HSBC were well aware of this. He apologised quickly and rang off.
