Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation. Phone completely scanned for malware and came up clean. Very perturbing.

A voice not quite loud enough to hear properly was talking about charges and disconnected. I called the number back and a different, real voice again very quiet spoke, whilst I was trying to hear the call I could hear a dog barking and so hung up and blocked the number.
According to person on other end of call, they were calling with regard to the problems I had logged with the local housing officer. I had done no such thing so this is obviously a scam call

Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. The British government really needs to do more to safeguard citizens from whatever fraud they had planned.

Randomly called me, claimed it was a wrong number then started trying to demand my name etc. Weirdo.
I answered the call & was asked if he can speak to Mr. Davis. I said "You have the wrong number as there is no one living here of that name". SCAM - A female recorded voice with an English accent said that it was a call from Amazon and my Amazon Prime subscription had just been renewed in the sum of £95. I was given options of pressing 1 or 2 for different courses of action. I did absolutely nothing and about 30 seconds later the call cleared.
