This number is apparently from Kazakhstan, it sent me a random job enquiry thing about some sort of pretty high paying jobs saying I’ll get paid in pounds. I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
