Fraud A man saying his name was James from 'Ultro' my network provider. I hung up as I've never heard of that network provider and it's certainly not mine.

Indian man called claiming from sky. Said im not with sky he then said no hes feom a company linked to sky, again said not with any company linked to sky, he said no you dont understand. Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. Facebook market place scam, Clocked it and strung them along for awhile, they then started asking for payment back to a bank account. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Number called identifying as Visa and a £900 charge been made to my bank account

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Call center SCAM – Indian caller, very hesitant English – evidently calling from a very old sucker list, asking for someone who moved out years ago

Recorded message - Caller reckoned that were two suspicious transactions on my accountOne from Amazon and one an overseas payment.

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.
