Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

I was called saying my wifi was going to go go off and i was going to be given a new router. I was asked to use my mobille phone and enter a code which he gave me. He was using phonetics which didnt seem normal eg o was onion. Naturally I did'nt carry on and rang off.

Been having this number phone both my mobile and house phone quite a few times this week. It all stemmed from a quick survey which I answered from a call on the weekend.
