Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

Called 10/02/23. Spam call supposedly from Visa about payments. Amazon £300 etc.
The call was made to my landline, Telling me that there had been two payments made on my account £300 to Amazon and one other, which wasn't true cos I immediately checked with my phone Bank app and didn't listen to rest of call I just hung up.

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). I have been receiving two or three voice messages every day for the last three weeks it asks me to record a personal message for voice mail. if I let the message continue it runs through several options asking me to press a number, if I don't press any there is no delete message button it just keeps repeating over again. I cannot delete the message. I have blocked the caller to no effect, the messages still come through'. This is obviously a scam of some sort.
