I had a missed call on my mobile from this number today at 2.30 pm. Did not try to ring back as I didn't recognise the number.
This number called me, an automated voice said that it was customs and revenue and that I owed tax. I hung up before the message was finished.
Revived a message from this number. Pretend to be Hermes and ask for unpaid postage.

Automated call Recorded voice telling me I had made an international money transfer from one of my bank cards. This is the second call telling me this today, the first was from 01482354676. I got this text message "DPD: Package on hold please visit: https://dpd.rearrange-parcel-gb473931.com. To release your parcel today" I've not ordered anything - it asked me to put in my postcode and then the next screen was name and even more info - so its obviously a scam
This company have persistently called over a 10 year period, trying to interest me in solar panels. They cannot take NO for an answer, despite blocking their number!!!
I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
