This number contacted me this morning the 19th of January and said they were from bank security I checked with my bank to be told its a scam

Scam caller from this number trying to access bank information from an elderly relative.

'Microsoft from Reading'. dangerous call, my 5th in 5 weeks.............. caller was called 'Kevin'.

Automated call telling me I have transferred £5000 abroad and £300 to Amazon - but no mention of who they are just press 1 to connect to an operator!!!

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. SCAM Asian scammer types claiming to be from some national accident insurance company. States that my number is obtained via DVLA after an accident registered in the past couple of years. Ignore!

SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. They keep stating that I need to send them my bank statements and have refused to give me her employee number or managers number or a contact for the department she works for.

I am completely covered in scam calls from India where the fact that my number is on a government do-not-call list is completely ignored. A valid phone company would not ignore the fact that my number is listed.

Messaged to inform me of a delivery I missed from EVRI. With a link to re-book a delivery time. I went to the official website to track my delivery, and the number on the message that the suspected scammer gave is not recognised. Also I checked my CCTV and no-one had tried to deliver anything.

Bank scam. Automated voice call asking to authorise a £900 transaction from a visa card.

These people want you to think they are from Visa and say that a large amount of money has been removed from your bank account (they don’t mention either your name or the name of your bank or any bank) unless you contact them immediately. It is a recorded message but it is a scam. And they are persistent. This is the third day in a row around about the same time each morning. It is clumsy but people may be taken in.
