This number has called 3 times today. Voice very similar to BT’s robotic voice saying ‘ You have a call waiting, press any key to continue’ I have not and will not!

I would urge anyone receiving calls from this number to report their experience to Action Fraud and Ofcom. This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. They target the elderly and vulnerable and their main objective is to obtain bank details for anything from insurance for washing machines to rebates for Council Tax. It s a complete scam. This is a company which books free home assessments for damp (rising, penetrating, leaks, condensation) and issues caused by insulation previously installed under a freebie government scheme. They use a dialler to make contact and do not charge for their service. If you agree to have a surveyor visit your home they are polite and helpful. Their home assessment is free of charge. If they identify an issue they bring it to you attention. They then compare your home's issue with previous case studies.

CARE - Scam number - automated call purporting to be from Inland Revenue - threatening cancellation of National Insurance Number due to apparent illegal activity - financial threats got stronger during the call if no action taken - instructed to press "1" to be connected to "customer service officer". Presumably, if pressed "1", would then be coerced to divulge bank or card details or other information - CARE.

An un-solicited call, by a company claiming to be IFA Direct. I asked for their company details and he said we are in Malaga, Spain. I.F.A Direct have a website, and are in Woking, Surrey. Very strange behaviour. Whoever they are, they are phishing for personal details about pensions and finances. They are employing hard sell techniques. They are evasive and won t give out their company details. And they are illegally calling numbers registered with the T.P.S. Stay well away from these people.
