Also received a text saying I had subscribed to footy-tipster.com (never heard of them) at 4.50 per week which I thought was just spam. When the charge appeared on my account I contacted my service provider who immediately refunded the money to me and placed a premium rate call block on my account.
Agressive sounding Scottish male, accused me of using his Wi Fi, saying he had traced my IP address and asked how do you explain that? How did he get my mobile number? Has he got my IP address? What the hell is his purpose?!

He said there seems to be some fraudulant activity on my account and I should move all my money into the main account and then he would change all my account numbers and sort codes He sent messages from 08000 123 123 and he confirmed Santander will always use this number as it uses the 123 from their 123 account. SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.
