SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HSBC fraud to check a couple of suspicious transactions and knew the area I was located in. They didn't ask for any secure information but when I called HSBC directly, they had no record of either the call or the transactions on my account.

I received several calls from a company called UK Energy Council Utility working on behalf of National Grid. They said that I was basically being overcharged by my current suppliers and asked me for my bill to obtain the supply number. They were very inquisitive seeking information that should have been known. I did not provide the information as they appeared dodgy. I was then told that I should continue to be ripped of by my current suppliers.

Gentleman sounded like he was in a call centre. Have had a few phone calls from this person saying he was with EON Energy and my business contract was due for renewal (I work in a pub). I told him I wasn't authorised to make these decisions on behalf of the company and therefore could do nothing.
